Overview of Safeway Runway De-/Anti-Icers

The de-/anti-icer fluid Safeway KA and solid de-/anti-icers Safeway SD and Safeway SF are suitable for a wide range of requirements. Safeway KA is an aqueous, inhibited solution of potassium acetate.

Safeway SD is a solid de-/anti-icer based on anhydrous sodium acetate. Safeway SF, like Safeway SD, is a solid de-/anti-icer, but is based on anhydrous sodium formiate as the component lowering the freezing point. This solid de-/anti-icer supplied in granule form can be used and handled in a similar way to urea. Both Safeway products are more effective than conventional agents and offer special advantages in terms of eco-friendliness.
