The organization of the Functional Chemicals (FUN) division reflects the structure and requirements of the markets we serve and the products we deliver. Functional Chemicals is divided into three business units, all of which are supported by strong research and development departments. The Detergents business unit supplies anionic and cationic surfactants as well as bleach activators to its partners in the detergent industry worldwide for household, industrial and institutional cleaning. Business unit Performance Chemicals has customers in various industries: personal care, crop protection, paints and coatings, plastics and industrial chemistry. The Process Chemicals business unit works closely together with customers in the markets oilfield chemicals, metal working and mining chemicals as well as aviation and automotive. Expertise and structures are in place to provide problem solutions and extensive service.
