From an environmental point of view, the best solvent is of course water. A product group in the Clariant range allows the organic solvent to be replaced by water. Due to toxicological issues of the solvent, the interest in such emulsions in water is now increasing.
The emulsifier used could be based on common emulsifiable concentrate (EC) emulsifier systems.
