| In order to overcome some of the well-known problems of powder products, some solids are formulated as suspension concentrates or flowables, in which the solid active ingredient is dispersed in a liquid (normally water) together with additives, to form a lastingly stable water dispersable suspension. Before application, the concentrate will be mixed with water to achieve the desired spraying liquor.
The auxiliaries used are dispersing and wetting agents as well as defoamers, antifreeze products etc.
As dispersing and wetting agents, the powder types designed for use with WP as well as liquid types could be used.
